About this blog

We write articles mainly about visitor management, which helps you to know who is (or has been) in your facility. It is just part of an organization’s physical security processes that protect people and property within and around a building or campus.

ASI Orlando 2015

by Katie Lillis

I had the pleasure of exhibiting at ASI Orlando on January 5-6, 2015. It was a busy two days, and several times I had more visitors in my booth than I could handle. As I walked the show, I realized we were the only exhibitor with visitor badges, let alone visitor badges that change color overnight!

Our new product, eVisitorPass, was the big topic at the booth. Everyone was excited to offer a low-cost visitor management software system along with the visitor badge labels that change color. An American Solutions for Business partner, who is very close to being the first reseller to sell eVisitorPass, stopped by the booth to chat. He thanked me for making his job easier by supplying flyers, live demos, and being available every time he called or emailed with questions. I also had a retired high school teacher, who now sells print and promotional products, stop by to tell me our product is fantastic and every school should use our time-expiring visitor passes.

Personally, my favorite part of the show is demonstrating our how our Threshold work to folks who have never seen it. They get a look of “awe” when they realize our visitor badges create a duplicate log when filled out, change color overnight, and are extremely simple to use.

I am looking forward to ASI Orlando 2016!!
